Restraint Straps

Horizontal (heavy duty) and vertical (light duty) straps are multi holed at 25mm offset centres. Galvanised straps are manufactured from hot dipped galvanised steel to BS EN 10346:2009 DX51D + G275. Stainless steel straps to BS EN 10088-2 Grade 1.4301 are available to order.

H Horizontal (Heavy Duty) Restraint Straps (HDMH)
Heavy duty restraint straps (galvanised edge coated) are suitable for horizontal restraint applications such as tying timber roofs and floors into masonry walls. These multi-holed straps are supplied in 100mm increments with 6mm holes at 25mm offset centres. Available straight, bent or twisted or in combinations as required in galvanised or stainless steel.
HX Engineered Restraint Straps
HX horizontal restraint straps are engineered to provide the performance of our traditional ‘H’ strap. Manufactured from galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10346:2015. The HX restraint strap is a thin profile (1.5mm thick) strap suitable for horizontal restraint applications such as tying timber roofs and floors into masonry walls.
V Vertical (Light Duty) Restraint Straps (LDMH)
Light duty restraint straps can be used for vertical restraint applications, such as holding down wall plates to masonry. These multi-holed straps are supplied in 100mm increments with 6mm holes at 25mm offset centres. Available straight, bent or twisted or in combinations as required in galvanised or stainless steel.
VX Engineered Restraint Straps
VX vertical restraint straps are engineered to provide the performance of our traditional ‘V’ strap. Manufactured from galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10346:2015. The VX restraint strap is a thin profile (1.2mm thick) strap suitable for vertical restraint applications such as tying wall plates to masonry walls.
