VX Engineered Restraint Straps

VX vertical restraint straps are engineered to provide the performance of our traditional ‘V’ strap. Manufactured from galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10346:2015. The VX restraint strap is a thin profile (1.2mm thick) strap suitable for vertical restraint applications such as tying wall plates to masonry walls.

Fixings:
- Timber recommended fixing 3no. 3.75 x 30mm sherardized square twist nail
- Masonry fixings are the responsibility of the Building Designer
- Lowest fixing shall be within 150mm of the bottom of the strap
