HX Engineered Restraint Straps

HX horizontal restraint straps are engineered to provide the performance of our traditional ‘H’ strap. Manufactured from galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10346:2015. The HX restraint strap is a thin profile (1.5mm thick) strap suitable for horizontal restraint applications such as tying timber roofs and floors into masonry walls.

Fixing
- Timber fixings 8 No, 3.75 x 30mm sherardised square twist nail
- At least one fixing must be into 3rd joist or truss
